Where do I start? Service was average. Don't go in there asking questions. The lady doesn't like answering them. The place is full of stuff. Some of it was neat seeing because of the age of it. The rest? Dirty. The food... I got the pork plate with fries and brunswick stew. The meat was kind of edible. I have had some worse. The stew was mush, but it was a little edible. I was starving. The fries were good and hot. DO NOT use the sauce and ketchup. Nasty containers! It looked like they had never been washed. Bread is on the tables. They literally put a loaf of bread on each table for you to reach in the bag and take out to eat. I ain't into communal food like that! That's just SO unsanitary!!! You don't know if folks are washing their hands on a good day and you come into a place like this, and there's communal bread for you to partake. I DID NOT partake of the bread! They have bottle sodas. On the plus side of that was they had Cheerwine! I love that stuff!! It was very cold and refreshing. I think that's the only good thing I can say about the place. There was a movie filmed here but it was back in the day so the place had to have been in better shape than it is now. We won't be going back.

Tried the bbq pork plate. Was ok tasting, but sauce wasn't very good to me. Table ketchup bottles were terrible tasting and I think they use it in the sauce. The amount of items they have inside and outside are worth seeing to try out the food. My granddaughter fried chicken filet sandwich had a patty about the size of sausage patty. Don't ask too many questions when ordering either. Bread is community shared from the loaf bag so beware of who share with.

Friendly staff, delicious food, fun atmosphere with lots of interesting decorations to look at. We had fun walking the grounds of where scenes of Sweet Home Alabama took place!

My home town, Barbecue is the best in town. I love the vintage look. Nice lady!!! Love the atmosphere. Only problem i have is the carryout trays, they melt with the hot barbecue. Need to go back to styrofoam plates!

The restaurant looks cool on the outside and stuff on the walls was neat to look at but as soon as we walked in the door the lady looked like she didn't want to be bothered. Not friendly! The sign said they had catfish but we would have to wait 40 minutes. Me and my husband was the only customers there at the time. We ordered the BBQ plate. Nothing was tasteful!! I came, I saw and I won't be back.

My boyfriend and I knew of this place because of the white cashier who recommended us this spot at a local nearby gas station. My boyfriend being naive took her word for it and of course we went. Bad bad decision. Upon arrival it was really cool outside, but once you walk in, the whole kitchen area is pitch black and you can’t see a damn thing back there except the black shadow of a woman serving food from a large pot onto a plate. Very very creepy, odd, and scary. What in the Texas chainsaw is this. We got some bbq and Brunswick stew, it was awful. I swear they fed us human remains or something bad. It was not good at all. I don’t even flies would get near that. The only things that seemed good was the bread and the sweet tea, THATS IT. That’s all I ate. We got a weird vibe just being there. I thought for a minute we were going to get murdered. Never going back. We still talk about how this is the WORST BBQ we have ever ever had . Just got to do better.

Cool looking place both inside and out. Service was not great. Pork was good. Brunswick Stew and coleslaw was not good at all. Sweet tea was very good.
