Nice place in Montrose for a casual breakfast. Plenty of choices as you can see from the menu. I got the garlic bagel with jalapeno smear - good! Others got breakfast sandwiches and the huge cinnamon roll! Also good! Next time I'm in town I'll be there!

They have jalapeno and cheese bagels which is a personal favorite. They put minced jalapenos in the batter before cooking which is the best way to do it (other places often put sliced jalapenos on top of the bagel before baking it) but unfortunately there is such a small amount so there was no jalapeno flavor. Otherwise, service was fine (if not very friendly), the bagel was well prepared and I got a brownie that was pretty darn good. If back this way, I'd go again.

A great little bagel shop. Of course they have a variety of bagels but they have plenty of other menu choices. The coffee is really great. The atmosphere is fun and open with plenty of seating. The staff is really friendly.

Love backstreet bagel! This place has really good coffee and bagels. My favorite is the lox cream cheese on a plain bagel. Nice patio to go outside and hangout with my dog.

This was a surprisingly disappointing experience given the glowing reviews. I got a small hot latte and a cinnamon raisin (I think, more below) bagel with cream cheese. The bagel itself was pretty bland to be honest, and I couldn't even really tell you what flavor it was. The most prominent flavor was a bit of onion that probably transferred from the bagel slicer, so that's awkward. The latte, if I had taken a sip before I drove out of town, would have gone back. I've never returned anything in my life, but it was burnt, badly. I had maybe 3 sips just for the caffeine and trashed it. Maybe it was an off day. I went to The Coffee Trader earlier in the week and should have made a repeat visit.

Delicious, friendly, and while worth the little wait!! The breakfast sandwiches are yummy and the spiced chais are perfected. I enjoyed the dog/cat wall and local art displayed as well.

FAKE. I got a bacon, egg, & cheese on a sesame seed bagel (pictured). My husband got a bacon, egg, & cheese on a croissant. He saw a few strawberry scones in the front case and bought one of them also. You can see the girls making the sandwiches behind the counter. The girls making the sandwiches microwave the fake circle of egg and microwave the bacon. Everything around them was dirty. The bread to content ratio is not satisfying. If it were real egg, it would have been fluffier and tastier. Each sandwich comes with a small coffee. Coffee was good, but the creamer had a hair on it and was gunked up with old crusty cream around the edges. When they gave us our order, they didn’t have the scone. I went back to the counter and asked for the scone. She said “oh, we just sold our last few.” UM HELLO I ordered one before the last ones were sold. So instead we received the option of a brownie or refund. Overall, we chose not to eat in because it was dirty. The way they operate with making the sandwiches was gross. I literally could’ve gotten this fake sandwich from Dunkin’. I thought I was going into a real establishment. We will not be going back ever again.
